Massachusetts (September 16, 2009) - Kevin Dougherty joined the team of professional business brokers at Murphy Business in Massachusetts as a Partner. Murphy is the New England regional office of Murphy Business & Financial Corp. based in Clearwater, FL; North America's premier business brokerage franchise.

Prior to joining Murphy, Kevin Dougherty led the turnaround of a systems integration firm as CEO. He previously served as CEO of a software development firm, successfully selling it to a multinational technology firm. Kevin started his career in consulting, as a Partner at Coopers & Lybrand and AT Kearney.
In addition to his role on the executive team Kevin will run the Boston Metro office located in Dedham. Murphy also operates offices in Plymouth and Bourne; and is actively looking for professionals interested in a career in business brokerage to join its team.
